Jimmy Hayley (Practice Manager)

Jimmy is a born and raised Texan who grew up around animals on a ranch in South Texas.  He has been working in the veterinary field since 2000 and enjoys working with animals because of the bond he forms with both the clients and their pets. Jimmy started at CMAH is June of 2004. He started out as a veterinary technician and loves assisting the doctors daily in activities such as taking and developing radiographs, drawing blood, cleaning teeth, placing IV catheters and assisting in surgery. He has been taking on more management duties over the years and has been promoted to the practice manager for CMAH. Jimmy, his wife Cori and their sons Henry and Johnny share a home with their  pets: two black labs Bene and Bob and three cats Rooster, Otto & Frannie. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys hunting, fishing, running, spending time with his family, and relaxing at home.

Vickie Kennedy

Vickie has been a receptionist at Custer McDermott Animal Hospital since September of 2003. From 1989-2000 Vickie lived in Hong Kong, China and the Philippines. Before moving overseas Vickie worked 9 years for Myers Financial Corporation in the Land Development department. Currently, she lives in Frisco and enjoys the company of her cats: Callie and Hobbs. In her spare time, Vickie likes to spend time reading, seeing movies and of course spending time with her cats.

Bronte Hampton

My name is Bronte, I am a proud owner of my Pit Bull, Athena. I am an animal enthusiast. I was born in Wichita, Kansas but consider myself a Texan at heart (minus the fact that I'm a die hard Oklahoma fan). I moved to Texas when I was eight years old. I've had animals all my life, and I absolutely adore them. Taking a vet tech class in high school showed me that working with animals is what I want to do with my life. In my free time I enjoy exploring new places with Athena, taking her on walks, and training her to do new tricks. I believe that animals let us into their lives so we should do the same for them and a little bit more. Thank you to CMAH for letting me into their family!

Meredith Glaister

Meredith has been at Custer McDermott since August 2013. She started working during high school as a veterinary assistant and has worked her way through various positions including technician and receptionist. Currently, she is a sophomore at Texas A&M studying Animal Science and planning on becoming a veterinarian in a few years. Meredith enjoys spending her free time with her friends and family and training service dogs with Patriot Paws.
