Comments :  STOP PLAYING GAMES WITH MY MONEY YOU THIEVES! You people don't care about animals you just care about money. You knew my two dogs were going to die and you gave them antibiotcs and steriods. My original vet said that was just for money.

Comments :  We love this clinic. Even our dogs love to come here! My only problem is that when making an appointment I have difficulty deciding which vet to make the appointment with, because they are all so good, knowledgeable, and so caring of our dogs. Of course, this is a nice problem to have. Keep up the wonderful work you do, Custer McDermott Animal Hospital staff - you are the best!

Comments :  In the below testimonial, I meant to write, Dr. Cinclair, not Sinclair. I also failed to mention the front desk staff. They are AWESOME. They are friendly and helpful every single time I call or come in. I can't say enough good things about everyone there!

Comments :  The entire staff at Custer McDermott is incredible. Our dog has been a patient there for almost 10 years and they treat our little guy as if he were their own pet. Drs. Sinclair and Pilkington are knowledgable and kind and are fabulous vets. We especially LOVE Connie, who has groomed our Shi-Tzu for 10 years. She loves our dog and takes such good care of him. She does an incredible job and in such a loving way! We are so thankful for everyone at Custer McDermott!

Comments :  You often meet doctors or even professionals that speak to you because that's their job; yet, when I met Dr. Molidor I was speaking to an individual who truly cares 100% and puts her heart into her job. My animals wouldn't be alive if it weren't for her and her passion for veterinary medicine. I hope many more patients get to meet her.

Comments :  To me a hero is someone who performs in an outstanding manner above and beyond all others. Someone who challenges the ordinary, who exhibits courage when necessary, and someone who saves and improves the quality of life of others. Dr. Cinclair is that kind of person. I first saw Dr. Cinclair regarding a second opinion for my 20 year old cat who has a tumor growth on his neck. Not only is my cat 20 years old but he also has a thyroid problem along with a slight heart mummer. I had previously been told by another veterinarian that removing the tumor would be exceptionally difficult and that there was a high risk of death as a result of not waking up from the anesthesia. This was not an acceptable option. For months I continued to care for my cat. He would scratch at the tumor which only made it worse due to the ongoing drainage of the tumor itself. My cat was miserable and I felt helpless. I could no longer continue to watch my cat decline. I felt as if I were being forced into a corner of consenting to a high risk surgical procedure or euthanizing my furry little friend. I was afraid, I was sad and my heart was breaking. I reached out to Dr. Cinclair for hope, an independent second opion. With great joy Dr. Cinclair mapped out to me a simple 10 minute surgical procedure that would remove the tumor. He explained that with a local anesthesia to numb the area around the tumor he could remove the tumor, tie off the blood supply veins to the tumor, close it with a total of only 4 stitches and treat it post-op with a laser therapy. Finally a responsible intelligent option I could live with. Joy for joy, this was ten years of Christmases and a life time of birthdays for me to hear this great news. That same morning just an hour later the tumor on my little furry friend was removed. My loving cantankerous 20 year old cat received a new lease on his already long lived life. After saving my 20 year old cat from a possible high risk surgical procedure, euthanasia or a life time of misery my opinion of Dr. Cinclair is a little biased. I think he walks on water. Dr. Cinclair is my hero. In time of medical need, good communication skills are essential. Dr. Cinclair articulates very well. When asked a direct question he will respond in kind with a direct clear concise answer. He will not dance around the issue at hand offering vague or unclear options. Dr. Cinclair exhibits confidence in his ability to perform procedures while showing total awareness of control and compassion for his little patients. The office is highly professional with a staff that is well organized caring and thoughtful to ensure all needs are meet. Dr Cinclair went above and beyond the ordinary. He improved the quality of life for my furry little friend. With the help of Dr. Cinclair and the wonders of modern technology my old cat has rightfully been able to return to the exulted status of CAT to live out the remainder of his life in comfort. That status all cats so effortlessly achieve and maintain with that air of total indifference to both fill and exhaust each and every day eating and sleeping in a perfect atmosphere of supreme comfort. For me, well, he made me very happy because he helped my little friend. Once again, I am appreciative and humbled by the good intentions of talented individuals.

Comments :  We have been bringing our little Gideon to CMAH since we moved to Plano two and a half years ago. Barbara Barton recommended Dr. Cinclair and we are so thrilled that she did. We cannot say enough wonderful things about CMAH, Miss Vicky and the staff at the front desk, and Miss Francis, and Jimmy, and Dr. Cinclair himself. It’s evident when we enter the front door, that each and every one of them really care about our Gideon. We highly recommend CMAH and Dr. Cinclair!!

Comments :  Every time I take a walk with Mitzi I think of Dr. Cinclair and the staff at Custer McDermott Animal Hospital. It all started when my dog, Mitzi, got run over. I took Mitzi to the emergency clinic where they said she would need a 2800.00 surgery. I am retired and widowed and living on social security. I could not afford the operation for Mitzi. I decided to take her to see Dr. Cinclair, because I knew he would tell me the truth before I just put her down. Dr. Cinclair was very straight forward and said we would have to get her body functions to work first. He was not giving any false hope but was going to try very hard to get her to recover, I could tell. I took Mitzi home with a catheter in and lots of medicine, but I had to bring her back 4 times because she kept chewing the catheter out. I felt really embarrassed when I had to keep bringing her back, but each time they tried to make me feel better, by taking her and saying “it’s okay”. They were always so kind and understanding. They kept Mitzi at the office for 4 days on two separate occasions during all of this. Each time I went to pick her up, I was worried about how much it would cost, but Dr. Cinclair always kept the bill to an amount I could afford on my social security. He is truly a special person who cares about animals and their owners The last time I left her with them, I wasn’t feeling to hopeful about her chances of recovery. After a few long days, I received a call from Dr. Cinclair with surprisingly good news. He said that her body functions were working and she could go home. I was so thrilled I just couldn’t believe it! I took Mitzi home still not knowing whether or not she would recover without surgery. Dr. Cinclair thought we could try first with rest and pain medicine to see if she would recover own her own. I am so happy to report that Mitzi has made a full recovery without the surgery. I will always be so greatful for Custer McDermott Animal Hospital and the entire staff for all the kindness they showed me and for the wonderful care they gave Mitzi. I am convinced if it was not for Dr. Cinclair and everybody at Custer McDermott Animal Hospital I would not have her today. I would highly recommend Dr. Cinclair and the Custer McDermott Animal Hospital to anyone who has a pet. Dr. Cinclair is a wonder veterinarian and I am so glad we have him. Sincerely, Jerry and Mitzi

Comments :  Where do I start? As I tell everyone I meet, Dr. Cinclair and the staff at CMAH are definitely the best in Dallas. He has proved himself over and over with life threatening diseases and difficult births. My 15 year old would not be here today without the daily care that she was given at age 4 which took 8 months before she was out of the woods. Saying good-bye is never easy, but when the time comes, you know that your beloved pet has had the best of care. Compassion and empathy describes the care that is given from Vickie at the front desk, Dr. Pilkington, and Dr. Molimar down to each and every one of their well trained techs. Thank you for alway being there for us... Sabrina 16 1/2, Dinah 15, Candy 9, Johnny 6, and crazy Harry 2 1/2 :-)))))

Comments :  To All Our Friends at CMAH: Just wanted to take this "pawfectly" wonderful opportunity to Thank You for the excellent care that you consistently provide to us and for the superior service that you always extend to our mom. We live in McKinney and mom could take us to any number of local vets, but instead she chooses to drive the extra distance to take us to you. We have found so many friends at CMAH, from the receptionists who always make us feel so welcome and are so-o-o accomodating, to the vets and techs who provide our medical care with gentle hands and caring hearts, to our groomer, Connie, who always makes us look so "dog-gone" good lookin! Mom says you're the best and so do we! Signed with Love and Appreciation, "Scotch" and "Annie" Bambrick

Comments :  We have been taking our 8 year old dachshund, “Sadie”, to Custer McDermott AH for 7 years and we couldn’t be happier. We fear ever moving far away because we do not think she would receive better care. Listed below are some reasons why: Sadie recently had a broken tooth and we were told she would have to have it pulled. Dr Cinclair referred us to an animal dentist because we expressed that we might want to get a root canal instead. After speaking with the animal dentist in length, we decided to have it pulled by Dr Cinclair. The dentist said that Dr C would be one of the only Doctors that he would recommend pulling her tooth if that was our decision. The dentist informed me that CM Animal Hospital is one of the few vets that have an X-Ray machine to take before and after pics to see if the entire root was removed. Dr Cinclair also talked to us in length when weighing the pros and cons of her pulling her tooth. The other doctors in this practice are also wonderful. Dr Pilkington has wonderful bedside manners and is always very thorough with Sadie. Dr Molidor was very persistent when our Sadie had a scratch on her eye. She spent extra time looking at Sadie’s eye because she wanted to be sure it was just a scratch and there was not anything stuck to her eye. We have yet to meet Dr Wenaas, but are certain that she would be just as good with Sadie. If you are wondering if another vet would have better doctors or would be easier on the pocketbook, don’t bother looking elsewhere. We did all of the research 7 years ago and made the correct decision to choose this vet for our sweet Sadie.

Comments :  We LOVE the entire staff at CMAH. We've been customers for 9 years, first with our dog Buddy and now with Charlie. Buddy had numerous health issues and I will never forget how caring, resourceful, thorough, and patient everyone was as we walked with Buddy through many long, hard days. When we finally made the choice that it was time to put him down, they supported us along that walk too. When we got Charlie, one of my first thoughts was the fact that I'd get to see my friends again! Thank you all for caring not only about my dog but also about us too.

Comments :  I just moved here from New Orleans, and one of my biggest fears was finding somewhere to bring my shih tzu to get groomed. Back home, it was always a nightmare bringing him in, and every groomer ended up having to sedate him. Finding Connie is the best thing to happen to us! When I called and explained my "problem" dog, she was more than eager to put some time in and see if she could help my dog get through a grooming without sedation. After a short hour with my dog, Connie was able to give him his best grooming yet, and without any drugs. She and everyone else at Custer McDermott are beyond sweet and sincere, but professional and knowledgeable, and I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. Thanks again Connie!

Comments :  We feel very fortunate to have Custer McDermott as our vet. At one time or another we've had appointments with each of the doctors and all are caring and knowledgable. We recently had our beloved old collie Alf put to sleep and Dr. Pilkington could not have been more sympathetic, gentle and caring. Our relationship with these wonderful folks will continue as we see our remaining dog through her senior years.

Today we had Ms. Connie Eppley groom our Mr. Cotton and again we are most pleased with the results. Thanks to all including the professional staff.

Comments :  I have been a customer for almost 11 years now, with lots of cats and rescued dogs, and there is no other place I would trust my 'children' to! Everyone at this clinic is above average, they are the best, specially Connie, who remindes me of the dog whisperer (Cesar Millan) because she has a way with animals that I have only seen on his show! I recommend CMAH to everyone!

Comments :  To the caring staff of Custer McDermott Animal Hospital, I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the wonderful care that you gave AJ over the years. AJ had several medical issues when we moved to Plano seven years ago It was such a comfort knowing AJ was treated by the very best – the best veterinary expertise as well as the most kind, and compassionate group of individuals. My AJ loved everyone there, from the gals at the front desk, to every vet tech, every doctor but in particular Dr. Pilkington and Jimmy. I admire and respect you all so very much. I know my AJ lived as long as he did because of the quality care he received from you. When I applied to adopt my new puppy, his breeder asked if I was going to seek quality veterinary care for my pet. I replied that I had already found such a facility, and I was talking about Custer McDermott Animal Hospital! I know that with my care and yours, my puppy will live a long, happy and healthy life. Thank you again for all that you did for my AJ and for all the care I know you will give my little Frankie.

Comments :  "Dedicated caring, compassion, and expertise" are not words we use lightly as pet parents who entrust the health of our animals to veterinary professionals. Dr David Pilkington, his colleagues, and the entire staff at Custer McDermott are extraordinary. Although cancer related events took our kitty on 9/23/08, we are deeply grateful for the exceptional care she received, and the empathy and understanding Dr Pilkington showed us. This is say a sincere thank you to all at Custer-McDermott for the excellent care you provide.
