Dedicated Cat Boarding in Plano
Are you planning a business trip or a long vacation overseas? You have a place for your feline at Custer McDermott Animal Hospital while you’re away. It’s never easy to have to leave your pet, even if it’s just for a few days. We offer exclusive feline boarding services for Plano and surrounding areas. When you leave your cat with us, know they will be cozy and well cared for. Our feline-only boarding facility offers all the comforts of home in a clean, stress-free environment.
Cat Boarding Requirements
Before your cat’s stay, make sure they are up-to-date on all of their vaccinations. This ensures the safety of your pet and others that may be boarding with us. Ideally, they should have their vaccines given at least a week prior to their boarding date. Cats require two vaccinations in order to board:
- FVRCP (distemper)
Along with having the appropriate vaccinations, we ask that you bring your cat in a proper pet carrier for easy transfer to our facility. You may bring their food from home, but be sure to include a note with instructions for feeding amounts and times. Also, be sure to measure out enough of your pet’s food to last them their entire stay. If your cat is taking any medication, please let our staff know, and provide clearly labeled containers with instructions.
Our boarding facility supplies bowls, fresh water, and clean bedding to all our guests. If your pet must have their own bedding and toys, please let our staff members know. We usually recommend that owners not bring extra bedding or toys, because we cannot guarantee their return. Please label all of your pet’s belongings with their name and your last name—this includes food, medications, treats, bedding, toys, etc.
