Dr. Brassette, DVM

Dr. Meredith Brassette joined the Custer McDermott Animal Hospital team as a general practitioner in June 2022 after practicing in Flower Mound and McKinney since 2013. She is originally from Lake Charles, LA, and graduated from Louisiana State University with bachelor’s degrees in both animal science and psychology in 2009. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Collin County Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Brassette shares her home with her husband, Kevin, who is a mechanical engineer, and their two children. They also have three pets, Edgar (domestic shorthair cat), Bronwyn (Welsh Corgi), and Sadie (Border Collie mix). In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, cheering on the Dallas Stars, and watching LSU football(Geaux Tigers!). She also enjoys baking, watching the Great British Bake Off, and sampling any and all baked goods.
