Dr. Pilkington, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Pilkington is a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He knew he was destined to be a veterinarian after winning a cow milking contest in the first grade. While his career started with food animals, he is now happy to practice companion animal medicine. Dr. Pilkington moved from Connecticut to Texas in 1979, and became friends with Dr. Cinclair and his family shortly thereafter. He now lives in Plano with his wife Susan, their four children (Chandler, Bennett, Dorrie Beth, and Anne Marie), as well as their hairier children: Cotton, a DSH cat, and Penny, a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel (their newest addition).
When not practicing medicine or volunteering, Dr. Pilkington enjoys spending time with his family, playing softball, various outdoor activities, and often to his demise, cheering for the Aggies. He is also very involved with men’s groups and youth education at his church in Plano. He is very excited to practice veterinary medicine not only with an esteemed colleague, but a good friend. Dr. Pilkington believes veterinary medicine is about helping pets, and people too. He is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond.
